Chinese East vs West Conflict is Confusing

What is a person to think about the China vs the West conflict? On the one hand, if China did actively work to bring down the West, then that means time on this planet working with China could prove difficult. On the other hand, if China isn’t actually a problem then given their vast legacy, they may offer a lot to everyone.

I learned recently that there is more than meets the eye concerning the Chinese. Not only do they have a society that outlasted the Ancient Egyptians, they were inventing things long before invention was even a word in the dictionary. Their society collectively knows things that archaeologists and anthropologists probably have yet to discover. Knowledge and intellectual treasures exist in China that could advance the evolution of humanity. Continue reading

Vrilya Re-imagined Out of the Chaos of Capitalism

Reading Marshall Brain’s book, Mana, I saw themes regarding automation and AI that were more realistic than what has been shown in movies up to this point. Fast food workers whose every step is guided by a computer. Retail workers who stock shelves the instant a computer determines product on a shelf has dwindled below a certain level. Doctors and lawyers who are replaced by technicians. The tale that Marshall weaves seems not only realistic but within the grasp of today’s information technologies. Continue reading
