Civic and Social Perspective – 2021

A course has been set for the year ahead. Based on the popular vote in national elections since 1995, the overwhelming majority of US citizens seek several things. A sustainably good lifestyle, professional success, clean food, air, and water, respectful behavior and words, and good decisions by business, community and civil leaders at all levels.

New Mississippi State Flag

I am not from or ever lived in Mississippi but I like their new flag. One of the most beautiful and respectful flags I’ve ever seen in a US state flag. The leaders in Mississippi did a great job in bring forth this flag and it reflects honorably on the US to see a state transition symbolically to a more hopeful and inclusive future.

Election Results 2020 – Aftermath

This year’s election was brutal and contentious. More people voted this election than in the past 120 years. Chamath Palihapitiya is a top level investor who recently gave the best insight on what the election contest represents. A real struggle for the true future direction of America has begun.
